Has it changed our thoughts about getting off the road and finding a place to "settle down"....maybe just part-time and still travel? We have a lot of things to share with you in this video! Join us as we walk and talk in a beautiful state park.

    I had the same cancer & had robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy on 7/23/24 (everything was removed through the vagina). My cancer was Stage 1A Grade 3. I will be 6 weeks post-op on 9/3 and will have the same Brachytherapy that you had probably starting the following week. My Radiation Oncologist wants to wait until after my 6 weeks post-op. I've done so much research & feel OK with it, but I'm still nervous. Your videos have helped me so much. My faith that the Lord is watching over me is strong.

      @dragonslayer7529 hello! Tomorrow 8-23-24, I will be 3 months post surgery, 6 weeks post radiation. After you have the brachytherapy radiation, make sure you ask the Dr about using a dilator or "trainer" startingabout 2 weeks after your last treatment. I also started using a vaginal suppository called Revaree Plus by a company called Bonafide. The doctors were all interested in learning more about Revaree. It is a natural, hormone free product that helps with dryness. The dilator and suppository are important steps because if the vsginal tissue shrinks and gets dry, it can lead to UTI's and other bladder issues. I will talk more about this in my next video. I'm glad the videos are helpful to you!! God's blessings of protection and recovery!!! 🙏🙏

    I’ve just had a laprascopic radical hysterectomy for grade 1a endometrial cancer … for me the biggest emotion is grief, a sense of losing my womanhood. I’d been in a long term marriage, 21 years, and it had been very toxic and I very much felt that my uterus has kept the poison away from the rest of my body … and Im looking forward to feeling better. I very much had the feeling of it being my babies first home … but I have to look forward now to a life alone, free from cancer and free from the toxic past. It’s not a weird feeling you’re having … but hey! We’re alive and aren’t we lucky !

      @Jane-rc2rk hello! Thank you for sharing your story. I am now 12 weeks post surgery and 5 weeks post radiation. I'm still recovering, learning my limits (hopefully, not limits forever), and feeling better each day. I'm praying I don't get the cancer back, and doing several new things to boost my chances of 0 return. I pray that for you too! I'm sorry you were in a toxic marriage. But you are never alone. Jesus is always with you and you will find new friends as you reach out and care for others. Hope your recovery goes really well!! 🙏💗💕

      @LookingBackAdventures hello! Good to hear from you! You've had some nice "outdoor therapy" yourself this summer. I keep adding to my list of "places to go" after seeing where you've been! Some people who live full time rv never think about anything else. However, it seems that every year something happens that makes us wonder about taking that next step. And every year we conclude that we'll give it another year! I guess all that thinking and figuring out what to do next is good brain exercise?! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️🤔😉

    We live in north Texas and did not lose power during that time. We did have a broken water pipe so no water for 4 days until a plumber could repair it. Since then we have installed a standby whole house generator. We were never cold.

You were wise to install a whole house generator. Power can go out in storms like the one in this video, or from the high heat TX is having now. You are prepared for whatever may come! • @RoadsofFaith
      @RoadsofFaith 20 днів тому

      @kerry-annbailey2119 Hello! I am now 10 wks post surgery and am able to live pretty much normal, except we live full-time in our rv and have realized that traveling often is not helpful in my recovery. I'll be doing another video about that, and other things I've learned through this experience, soon. Insomnia is common for women who are in peri-menopause (the years leading up to menopause), and for women who are post-menopause. For you to be having insomnia now, depends on your age and stage of life when you had your hysterectomy. It could also be due to things happening in your life that may have recently changed. To help with Insomnia, it is recommended to stay off electronics for 2-3 hours before bedtime, do relaxing activities like reading from a book, writing in a journal, settling into a relaxing routine, no alcohol, or eating for a couple hours before bedtime....these will all help you get to sleep easier. Sometimes, it's due to low magnesium levels. I hope some of these suggestions help you!! You could also talk to someone in a health food/supplements store about suggestions they may have. Praying the Insomnia gets under control for you soon or at least not something that happens often. Sleep is very important in itself, but especially after having surgery and during recovery. You will be in our prayers too! God bless!! 💕🙏

    • @RoadsofFaith
      @RoadsofFaith Місяць тому

      @angiescreativestudio8972 we were at South Lake RV park near Pearland. It is about 8 miles from Mays Clinic, MD Anderson. 8 miles away, but only 15 minutes and easier to get to downtown than where we first stayed at South MAIN RV park, (which we don't recommend. It was very noisy with heavy traffic and many homeless in that area. And it cost more than South Lake) Pearland, was hit pretty hard and was without power for quite awhile. We don't know if they have things back to normal or not yet. Don't know what kind of damage they experienced. Scott is a great manager. We liked being there. God's blessings on your treatments! 💕

    Just came across your channel. I'm 5 week post op and had endo cancer too. Currently feeling the grief aspect again as I don't have any children. I'm also a believer who is struggling to pray. • @RoadsofFaith
      @RoadsofFaith Місяць тому

      @rennyking hello and welcome to our journey! I am now 7 weeks post op...decided to have the 5 radiation treatments. I really struggled with doing that (I have a video on that, too). I don't know if Stage 1a has as high of a risk of recurrance as Stage 1b (which I had). I'm sure the risk is lower. My tumor was contained to the utereus and grade 2. None of the other organs they took had cancer. Your Dr should've told you what your risks are for recurrance. I've heard from another woman (actually, her husband) who was not offered any treatments afterwards for the same surgery and cancer. Make a list for the Dr. You should have a followup exam coming up soon? Mine was at 5 weeks. Take someone with you for moral support and a 2nd set of ears. As for struggling to pray... the Holy Spirit promises to intercede for us when we can't put our thoughts and words together. Just tell God your concerns and fears. Ask for peace, and He will comfort you. Our prayers are for you too!! Let us know what you find out. If you aren't satisfied with the answers you hear from your Dr, get a 2nd opinion. I didn't want radiation. It was only 5 treatments with a day or weekend (or hurricane!!) in between each one. Praying my body is protected from any other harm. 🙏🙏🙏

    • @RoadsofFaith
      @RoadsofFaith Місяць тому

      @pamelacain1362 there are many different ways to do radiation. Some are given on the outside of the body. Mine was on the inside. A narrow tube, which diameter size was determined by first examining me, is inserted into the vagina. They were very good about making it go in easily and painlessly. Then, they hook the end of it up to a cable of some kind, and leave the room. Nothing painful during the procedure. I felt 4 "puffs" and then it's done, they come back in the room, quickly scan me with a handheld device for any possible radioactive response (there was none), remove the tube and done. I was on the table for 5 minutes total...actual treatment was less than 2 minutes. Now, that was mine. It was called Brachytherapy. But much depends on where you go for treatments, what stage and grade your tumor is, and how many treatments you need. And there are several ways to do brachytherapy too!!! A friend of mine with endometrial carcinoma had 35 treatments on the outside of her body and 2 brachytherapy. She doesn't remember what stage she was, but I'm guessing it was more progressed than mine. You will be ok! Every time I was on the table, I prayed that God would protect my body from harm. I counted the "puffs"...1, 2, 3, 4. Keep your faith in the Great Physician! If you didn't see the video on if I should have radiation or not, and how I finally felt peace with my decision, there is a link at the end of this video or on our channel. You are in our prayers! God bless! 🙏💕

Hugs to you both!! 🙏💕 Yes...both sides need to get back to sticking with what they can do to make our country strong and respected again, instead of all the mudslinging! I'm scheduled on 7/23 for robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy due to endometrial carcinoma. I'm happy I found your channel. I've watch numerous videos from people ... my biggest fear is the gas pains. I've written down so much information, so hopefully, I'm prepared. I live by myself but have my son, grandsons & friends to help. I have cats so I worry about taking care of them. Thanks for your videos.

      @dragonslayer7529 hello and welcome! No one told me about the gas pains until after my surgery when I complained about how it hurt between my shoulders. They said walking would work it out. So I walked. I could've maybe tried using cold packs to help reduce the pain too, but wasn't thinking clearly. I only took one oxycodine the day of my surgery...otherwise, I used regular strength Tylenol or ibuprofen. The discomfort in my abdomen was partly from the gas and partly from moving things around during surgery. Walking and going to the bathroom more often to keep bladder from getting too full, both help. Stay super hydrated by drinking electrolytes in your water. I had really no pain from the incisions themselves. It was more of what happened under those incisions that can't be seen. Pace yourself. Rest often. Train your kitties to pamper you. 😉😊 Will add you to our prayer list that all goes well and you recover in short time!! 🙏💕 Ps...if you didn't already watch them, there are several videos on my healing journey, on you tube. I have a Playlist of all of them in one place, available on our channel. Hope they are all helpful to you!!

      @dorothypepe5112 I'm so sorry this has happened to you! We will keep you in our prayers that you get a good prognosis! I had my 4th radiation treatment today. One left to go, then regular checkups for several years. (There is a video about my decision to have brachytherapy radiation or not and the huge struggle and stress involved in making that decision. The thumbnail picture says "radiation or not?" Praying it never comes back! I'll be doing videos in the future on natural things I am doing to keep cancer away. Managing stress is a big factor! Keep searching for more information to keep your mind busy. And don't let all the info overwhelm you with all the differences you'll find. Sort through them. Take notes to ask the Oncologist when you have your meeting. (They don't like questions, but ask anyway!). Take notes. You might even want to record the meeting. And make sure you have someone go with you...husband, a family member, a trusted friend... don't go alone. They will hear things you may miss, or ask questions you didn't think of. And the moral support is good just in itself. You'll be ok! God is with you. He already knows how He is going to help you through this. Please keep in touch and let me know how you're doing! God's blessings of peace and calm as you join many others who have made this journey. 💕🙏🙏

It felt weird that I’d never go back to the woman I was before my surgery. But I made it through, with Gods help. God knew before I was born that I’d have that surgery. Amazing! Please remember me in your prayers. I have Ménière’s disease, Crohn’s/ Ulcerative colitis which is currently in remission with my biologic medication ( Rinvoq). Thank you Jesus! Lastly, I just learned that my labs revealed I have kidney issues. They are referring me to a kidney doctor. I pray it’s not something that can’t be treated. Phil 4:13 is my favorite verse. @@RoadsofFaith Vitamin D will help. We took vitamin D since Covid started in 2020, and outrun it till this past January. Fruits, vegetables help. We ate the right things, but like you Glenda developed cancer anyway. Genetics also plays a big part

    • @RoadsofFaith
      @RoadsofFaith Місяць тому

      @mikemitchem4846 we've been taking 4000-5000 IU's of vitamin D since 2020, and for many years before that, a minimum of 2000 IU's of D daily. Fruits, veggies, walking every day... we also take at least 2000 mg of vitamin C daily. We take a lot of other supplements too. Even eating organic, you can't get all your nutrients just from food anymore. So we supplement. Gary is 74, and I'm 67 and we had a checkup in February with blood work, etc and we're doing great! We're not on any meds, just supplements. The only one in my family who got cancer was my oldest sister. Pancreatic. She smoked for over 40 years, and didn't eat a healthy diet. Smoking is one of the biggest risks for Pancreatic cancer. I don't think genetics caused my cancer. The doctors didn't think so. It was basically just my age. That is frustrating to be told that because, like I said in the videos, not everyone ages the same. A 60 year old can have the body of a 40 year old, a 60 year old, or a 80 year old depending on many factors in their lives. One thing we know for sure...God is with us on this road in life!! Things happen that don't make sense to us, but it's part of His Divine plan. Christian's will suffer through this life. Jesus told us that we would have many troubles. And He is walking with us through all of them. I hope you and Glenda feel Him giving you strength to endure each day, each set back, each progress. Day by day His mercies never leave us!! May you be blessed beyond measure with the confidence that our Savior loves us so much He gave His life for us. Our time in this world is temporary. Heaven is our Home! Hi Gary and Orlene, I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably. I would like to share the diet with you. The soup Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat. Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready. I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.) During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for Orlene. I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that Orlene will be healed. Amen. I would also like to share the following six videos with you about salvation and two videos about evolution to help strengthen your faith: Evolution vs. God ua-cam.com/video/uc_W9VtzJ0A/v-deo.html DESTROYING Evolution In Under 3 Minutes ua-cam.com/video/sWecPwrQv2c/v-deo.html Watch the Holy Spirit Work in Her Heart (Very Moving) ua-cam.com/video/iBEoI2u6kII/v-deo.html Fearing The Lord, God’s Discipline & Sharing The Gospel ua-cam.com/video/dES5WW66Mro/v-deo.html A Clear Gospel Presentation by Pastor Steven Anderson - How to go to Heaven ua-cam.com/video/IXEeMWCxyrQ/v-deo.html The Plan of Salvation ua-cam.com/video/PmkhRMPvt_0/v-deo.html How to Get Saved ua-cam.com/video/ajWdkuvrT6s/v-deo.html The Truth About Hell (Selected Scriptures) ua-cam.com/video/AVzbh_dLq3s/v-deo.html Best regards Chris “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. Thank you Chris for sharing all this wonderful information! We agree on good nutrition and the soup sounds amazing! I drink green tea every day, Avocados, onions, ginger, fruits and veggies, and our meat is organic and grass or pasture fed. The rest of me is super healthy. It was just this one thing that happened in my utereus. Amen to Jesus as our one and only Savior!! It is always such joy to connect with other Christians around the world!! I will make your soup, probably in an Instapot (like a rice cooker) that I can make outside our rv as it is very hot in Texas right now, and a soup simmering that long will make it hot inside our tiny home very quickly. I appreciate all your wisdom on nutrition and spiritually as well. We did a video on the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in Kentucky a few years ago. There is no question that God created everything and we loved how well they proved that at the two museums. I hope someday you have the chance to visit them in person. God's richest blessings to you! Praying that you stay well and the growth on your eye completely disappears!!

    I had a complete hysterectomy nearly a year ago. Initial biopsy showed only "atypical cells" but nothing specifically cancerous. If I chose to undergo a hysteroscopy, had they found cancer then, I would have had to go in for the hysterectomy shortly thereafter. If they had not found cancer, because of the atypical cells, I would have had to have annual biopsies and that was NOT a fun procedure, so I chose to go ahead with the hysterectomy. I, too, watched lots of videos and talked to many women, all who said I wouldn't regret it, best thing they ever did, etc. My pathology report came back and I indeed did have endometrial cancer, stage 1a, very small, so nothing more needed to be done. So yeah, I made the right decision, but that doesn't mean that I don't have feelings of grief over losing a part of myself. I've never been married, never had children, am more than a dozen years post-menopausal, yet I also grieved the loss. And my bladder was PISSED about being moved around and invaded with catheters, so I felt constantly like I had to pee. I asked for, and got, pelvic floor physical therapy which really helped. And the weird sensations of organs moving around, pains that you thought were menstrual cramps, but clearly weren't since you no longer had a uterus to cramp, etc. took a few months to go away, and now it all feels like some weird dream. My scars are nearly invisible and my organs have found their new normal, and thankfully the anesthesia fog went away after several weeks. THAT was probably the worst part of the whole thing. My physical recovery other than my bladder issues, was really pretty easy. I had no gas pains post-op, no constipation, no hoarse voice or sore throat, and could sneeze and cough a few days post-op without pain. I've seen an oncologist, had the full-body CT scan (THAT was not what I was led to expect!), genetic testing (just a fluke, no weird genes), and a clear 6-month checkup. I am grateful I already had a physical scheduled, that I e-mailed my Dr. about my very minor symptoms ahead of that appt, that she immediately sent me for more testing, that the cancer was found at such an early stage, and that I'm well. I wish all the same and more for you!

    My wife started this battle and journey last August. She had a hysterectomy last August. The diagnosis was grade 1A carcinoma with everything contained. At the 3 month mark of her recovery, she started having cramping and mild bleeding which was chalked up to the healing process and vaginal atrophy. When she went in for 6 month checkup the doctor decided they needed to do a CT scan, which showed a tumor in front of the bladder. She is undergoing chemo every 3 weeks with three agents. After one round the symptoms improved and after 2 rounds they have disappeared. After the third round they did a CT scan and the tumor has shrunk by 90%. 4 rounds to go, and they think it will be gone. Not a fun experience for us but God is good and will see us thru. Prayers for you and your husband. It is difficult to watch your wife deal with this.

      @@RoadsofFaith Glenda had a complete hysterectomy, just as you did. I asked the doctor when she went over the treatments for the tumor, if in retrospect should radiation or chem should have been offered for a 1A diagnosis. The bottom line is the insurance would not have covered it. I just watched your latest video and grade 1A has 1 % reoccurrence rate, and yet here we are. And the reoccurrence did originate off the vaginal cuff. To be fair to the doctors we lost 3 to 4 weeks in January because of Covid. We made it thru the height of Covid and catch it January. You have a hard call to make, but I pray you don't have what we are going thru. Chem is as bad as the disease. But it is working. And with God's help we will make it. I asked Glenda if she would have taken the option of having further treatment, would she have done it. And the answer was yes. All it takes is one bad cell to escape. @mikemitchem4846 I have been praying for God to guide me and help me come to a decision. Stories like Glenda's is valauable to me! Thank you!!!!! 💝🙏 I know there are risks with and without radiation, and the struggle has been which risks are worse. I did everything to keep from getting cancer in the 1st place, and yet I got it anyway. I believe stress and heartache contribute to the majority of diseases. And controlling and managing those things are not easy. But that's just my theory. So will I get it back if I add even more healthy foods and make additional lifestyle changes? Maybe. Maybe not. Will radiation help those chances more? I don't know. Is the combination of doing BOTH the answer? That would be a wise plan, right?! God determined the number of my days before any of them came to be. No matter what I do or don't do, I will not live one more day than He planned for me. Which decision will give me the most peace of mind? I know that if I ask for His protection, He will give to me what is best for me and will carry out His purpose and plan for me. I need to trust in Him. That's not always easy, is it!! I sent the Radiologist Oncologist a message yesterday to explain exactly what the treatment entails. That will help bring more light to the decision. I have heard great things about Essiac Tea used with chemo or in place of other treatments is very good. I plan to look into that. I've also recently learned of a company called Bonafide and one of their products called Reveree. I will talk more about these new discoveries in future videos as I learn more about them. I'm glad you are recovering. Week three to four should be even better. I understand the loss, it was sort of of grief, despite the circumstances I think part was the drop in hormones after and the reality a part of me that brought joy was gone. Ultra radical is the reference. Endometrial cancer is fed by estrogen and a drop in progesterone production. That's why it all must go and they target what's left. Find out if the targeted radiation is Proton radiation therapy. If the case, there is plenty of information on it and questions are easier to get answers for. I suggest you ask about diet and saturated fat. Protecting the liver is paramount. Wishing you the best team, the best care. You will find the best choices for your individual path.🦋🌻

      Thank you so much for all your input! I appreciate all of it!! I asked the Dr about the estrogen...I had read that ovaries can produce estrogen for up to 20 yrs post menopause. I went through menopause 20 yrs ago. She said it had nothing to do with it, but I still wonder. When I have blood work done, my liver is always in the normal range. Our diet is mostly organic, little processed and those things are minimally processed. (They say frozen or canned veggies are minimally processed). Anything in particular you suggest for diet? Thank you again for all your advice! Greatly appereciated!! 💕

    I think you are spot on with “grieving”the loss of your womb. There could be a lot of denial in women with hysterectomies. I worked at the Nat. Cancer Institute at NIH and would trust their stats regarding recurrence. I think the radiation could be rough and your bladder is right there. Would constant checkups be too bothersome for you? There are now blood tests that can recognize cancer markers. Make a decision that gives you peace. Best of luck!!! WashDC, 11:13pm.

      Thank you!!! It is a relief to know that my feelings about the womb are valid. Also good to have that credibility of the numbers I found from the NIH! I've heard from others that the radiation can affect the bladder too. Definitely a concern. Thank you again for your valuable input! I appreciate it all! 💕

    Just watched your video and was happy to learn they caught your cancer at an early stage, and you are on the road to recovery.. One thing I do know is that you have a tough decision to make, and there is definitely nothing wrong with educating yourself about your situation and asking questions as far as helping you in your decision process when it comes to your health and which direction you will choose or not choose and all you can do is pray to God and ask for guidance in making the right decision for you..That's what sucks especially in relationship to cancer..as whatever you decide, i.e. additional treatment or no treatment, there is no guarantee, and that's the answer we are all looking for, and whatever direction we choose, we hope that it's the right one.. I pray 🙏 that God will give you wisdom and guidance in the direction that is best for you. God Bless. .

    I'm glad you are recovering after your surgery and you are looking really well. 😊 Good news that your cancer was caught at Stage 1b. Going forward making difficult treatment decisions must be hard for you both especially when we know that radiotherapy can cause so many problems, not just to the area treated but to the bladder also. But it sounds like they are saying it will half your risk of local reassurance ?. But what about metastasis elsewhere? Personally I would approach it in a metabolic way. There is so much evidence now to support this but unfortunately most oncologists only want to use invasive treatment which can work effectively for some cancers but at what cost? I'm glad you are researching your options before you decide how to progress. I have seen many cancer patients engage an holistic oncologist and in your case it might be quite easy to follow their advice because you are not stage 4 and therefore not fighting ongoing disease. I am praying you can make the best decisions. Xxxxx (There are many books you can read about a metabolic approach to cancer .) Xxxx P. S. Dont be rushed into making any decisions. You have plenty of time. Xx

    I also had a laparoscopic total hysterectomy many, many years ago (I was one of the first women getting this done in my area). I think the biggest negative about this type of surgery (laparoscopic) is our own impression of it. We walk away with just tiny little holes and it gives us the impression that we should snap right out of it, but that is wrong thinking. We have just had a serious, invasive, surgery. We must respect that. I think the next thing of importance is to have Faith--not just faith in God, but faith in ourselves. You know that you are not a slacker so have faith and trust that you will do what you can--being respectful of your body and not pushing it because pushing it will hold back/slow down the healing. It is so important to not push it. I underwent a total hysterectomy due to Adenomyosis--it's like endometriosis but it's between the walls of the uterus--invisible to the naked eye, only visible when my uterus was dissected in the lab. Prior to surgery I was in a terrific pain, couldn't even stand upright, so maybe that's why I didn't miss it when it was removed. I was so grateful to have my ovaries removed because cancer is prevalent on both sides of my family and ovarian cancer is often missed until it's too late, something of a time bomb that can happen without warnings that it's there. I am a DES daughter so I experienced the same relief when my cervix was removed--mine was twice the width of a "normal" cervix. That dark cloud hanging over my head--the potential cancer that could lodge there, was removed. Perhaps the grief you are feeling has to do with your thoughts about what your body once was. I'm saying this based on my own experience of an unrelated issue---I was in a car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury (among other things). I lost my short term memory forever, I lost the ability to spell, I lost some comprehension. I went from being an office manager/HR manager to someone who could not grasp/remember 3 instructions without forgetting the first instruction. I lost my job. I was swamped with grief and fear and anger (a young woman ran a red light and T-boned my car). Finally, my husband was talking with me he said "you know, we're not 18 anymore." (me thinking "Okay, where is this going?") he "We don't look the same, our bodies aren't the same, but we're okay, right? We still love each other, we're still happy together, right? We're still the same people we were, right?" Me saying Yes to all of that. Then he said, "then stop thinking back on what was--just go forward with what is and we'll get through it." So I say to you, don't examine what your reproductive system was given to you for, what you were able to accomplish with it. Instead, just look forward, know that you are still you, nothing about YOU is missing. Just be you and be content at whatever pace being you is. God's got you and your husband's got you and your children and friends have you. Sorry for being so long-winded--another thing I lost is the ability to be concise and to say thoughts with fewer words. I hope this helps.

      Please don't apologize for being "long-winded" (your words). I hung on every word you wrote!! This was incredible! I'm so sorry you went through the pain you had prior to your hysterectomy, and then what happened after your accident. As I was reading about how the accident affected you, I was in awe that you could write such a thoughtful and informative message. You're doing great! And you're right...I AM the same person, it just felt like I lost a piece of my history. But I have 4 wonderful adult children and 12 grandchildren that resulted from that "history". So I cherish that time of my life, and I will cherish what I have now....the fruit of my womb. 😊💕 You brought up so many excellent points. I appreciate the time you took to write it all. I am blessed by people like you! Thank you, and God bless you! 💕

      Yes...us too! We're already on an anti-cancer diet, and have been for years, but there's always more we can do. Currently using a powder into drink that alkalizes your body's ph and detoxes too. Also looking at a Keto diet, although, neither of us needs to lose weight, and at this time, I would be concerned that would happen. I need to build up more muscle instead. There are many ancient remedies out there used for decades or even centuries that are very effective against cancer. We keep looking for more ways to keep cancer away. That brought tears to my eyes! Women have been quiet about these things for too long...they kept their experiences to themselves. Maybe they felt embarrassed. Maybe they just wanted everything kept private. There are a lot of emotions surrounding a hysterectomy and the medical world's treatments for women's health in general. We feel intimidated to speak up, instead of following our gut instinct that there's a better way. I am putting together another video on the emotions we go through, when faced with things like this. I hope that is helpful for you too. It's helping me just putting it all together! God be with you and give you His peace! 💕🙏

    I am having a hysterectomy soon for non stop heavy diaper worthy bleeding from adenomyosis. Two weeks ago I found out that the hysterectomy was not going to be as straight forward as they expected because my endometriosis is really bad causing bowel obstructions and adhesions so they will doing an excision surgery and bowel reconstruction (with a possible stoma) at the same time as the hysterectomy. I found that out the day after I found out my thyroid cancer is incurable so I didn’t take that news very well. I should have known because of the bowel obstruction and unbearable pain I have been in. Stopping the pill caused my endometriosis to go out of control and invade my bowel but I had no choice because they discovered 10+ tumours in my liver when staging my cancer via PET scan. All hormonal options are contraindicated in liver tumours unfortunately. I feel like I cannot risk making my liver worse. Anyway, sorry for the long comment I was meant to just say thank you for showing us how you make things easier after a hysterectomy. The pain in the shoulders is what I get after endometriosis surgeries, and they told me it’s because they pump you full of gas. I have had many other surgeries and do not get that pain with other types of surgeries so maybe its that. Wishing you all the best with your recovery and I hope you do not need any further treatment. ❤

      Oh my gosh...I am so sorry to hear about your illness and complications!! Where does one even start to know what can help you...so many options our Western Medicine refuses to look at. I just learned about genuine essiac tea...I am looking into that for myself. It's been helping people with all kinds of diseases and health conditions for centuries! But we don't hear about things like that from regular doctors. I think that when it comes to our health, we sometimes have to become our greatest advocate for finding other methods. Pray about this. I will be praying for you! I've been reading up on endometrial carcinoma and how just having a hysterectomy is not necessarily the end of it. (I mentioned that in my video). I wondered why there's a support group for women who have had that diagnosis at the hospital, if it's such an easy cancer to treat. So it isn't by coincidence that last night, while walking in the rv park, we met a couple here from Missouri. She sees a naturopath Dr very close by, 2-3 times a year. He is one of the top in his field in the nation!!!! God answers prayers! I now have a plan b if I am told I need traditional treatments. God bless you and keep you close and give you His peace! 💕🙏

      @@RoadsofFaith exactly! The doctors (I see a GP, gastroenterologist, gynaecologist, neurologist, urologist, haematologist, rheumatologist etc) are all baffled and don’t know where to start. None of them want to take responsibility because I have too many things going wrong in my 33 year old body. They keep trying to palm me off to another specialist and I am being passed around like a tennis ball. I might have a look into the tea you mentioned. As for cancers that are easy to treat, we still need support groups for them because to hear the word cancer changes your whole world. And in some cases, like mine, an easy to treat cancer becomes incurable if the treatment doesn’t work. I am so grateful for the support groups! Thank you for your kind words. Wishing you all the best with your cancer journey!

      @iSheree wow! I am so sorry for all this frustration and misery you are going through! You will be in our prayers that you find someone who will listen and have the wisdom and skills to help you! You may also want to look for a Naturopath near you. Check reviews. Ask around for a referral. Read books on discoveries found in nature and diet. This is YOUR 33 year old body... do whatever it takes to break out of this circus of being passed around and find someone who will listen. Cancer does not define you. We have been conditioned to be in a constant state of fear about everything. Many people die of cancer because they give up thinking it's hopeless. Others live with cancer and do everything to stay positive and do proactive steps to keep the rest of their body healthy, which can help treat the cancer at the same time. Praying for you!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

    I had post menapausel bleeding 8/2023 after 20 yrs. Vaginal ultrasound , benign, D&C in 9/2023. All samples benign. February 2024 laparoscopic hysterectomy stopped when swollen ovaries & fallopian tubes, 10 cm mass found laying over colon NOT invaded colon. 15 lymph nodes taken & benign. Horrible experience with first male obgyn oncologist. He spoke poorly of my Obgyn, he told me I couldn’t go to hospital I wanted, couldn’t spend the night after surgery. IF my regular Obgyn couldn’t do surgery (rectocele repair day he did surgery, I’d need 2 surgeries). He recommended an Obgyn that he could convince her to do surgery same day HE was available. I looked him in his eyes & asked “is she your wife?” They have different last names. I called my Obgyn & told her what he said about her, I didn’t want him as my surgeon, & I wanted to make a complaint against him. Administration for hospital said I could still have surgery with a different oncologist at same hospital. This arrogant male oncologist called my obgyn stating that they don’t “swap” patients!!!! Meaning I had to find new Obgyn Oncologist at different hospital!!! By the grace of God, I was lead to The Best Obgyn Oncologist at teaching hospital! She asked many questions, had ekg, blood tests run, vaginal tests & results within 2 hours! Was scheduled for complete robotic hysterectomy. I’m on my 3rd chemotherapy out of 6. The male oncologist wife didn’t have rights at the hospital I wanted surgery completed at. I feel God blessed me with my regular obgyn who fought for me & to find an obgyn oncologist.

      @jennyd6185 will be keeping you close in prayer!! Have you looked into natural methods that can enhance and protect during chemo? I have to carefully mention things I know of because I don't want to worry about getting in trouble. This is not a link, but put it into a search as one word: Chris beat cancer . org Some say the C word comes from a fungus...others say it's from too much sugar...others turn to methods that increase oxygen that C can't survive in that environment. Others are turning to century old teas...check out genuine essiac tea...it can be used along with chemo. Maybe you already know of these things. Pray for help! It isn't by coincidence that we met a couple in the rv park from another state, who came to Houston because one of the top naturopaths in the nation is here. Now I have a Plan B if needed.
